Norwood 6, 3000 strip FUHT - hair restoration in stages

This is a NW 6 patient who aimed to create an illusion of coverage in the first stage.
Notable was that he has very limited laxity, no previous surgeries and lower then average density in the scalp donor area.
A suitable plan was made for the patient depending on his future hair styling preferences.

The patient is happy with the results acheived thus far. He plans to go for more hair transplants now to further increase the density as well as cover, as yet, untouched areas.

His strip FUHT was performed approximately 1 year back. The closure was performed in 2 layers with absorbable monocryl. No trichophytic closure was employed.

Following is a picture of the scalp donor area, with the hair parted on both sides of the strip donor area, to show the scar as it is visible 1 year after the hair transplant.
The patient feels it is inconspicous.
