Stage 3: At this point, baldness becomes more noticeable. Most males will experience deep symmetrical regression at the temples at this stage. Hair thinning at the crown of the head is possible at this period.

Stage 4: Hair loss on the crown is pretty noticeable at this point. Hair loss above the temples and on the crown is frequently separated by a hair bridge. Hair will be enough to cover the sides and back of the scalp.

Stage 5: The bridge between the front and crown will get narrower at this point. Hair loss will be noticeable on the crown and front. On the back and sides of the head, though, there is still hair.

Stage 6: Only sparse growth will be left on the bridge between the crown and the front. Baldness will be practically united in the front and crown. Hair loss is also present on the sides.

Stage 7: It is the most severe stage of hair loss, with thin bands of hair remaining on the back and sides of the head.
